Alexander Ghent
Hey there, I'm alexander but known as Sandy to friends and family. I studied Industrial Design at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, graduating with Honours in 2019. Since then, I've been developing my industrial design skills working across a wide range of projects at Electrolux, DroneShield, BSD robotics and most recently at Vuly Play.
In this time I have been lucky enough to be exposed to a myriad of different design challenges and many facets of the design process. Including design research, concept ideation, product visualisation, design for manufacturing, prototyping, and production.
I love to solve complex problems with a mix of great design and new technology. To me, industrial design is a way of making wonderful ideas more accessible, sustainable and ultimately, be able to change people's lives for the better
When not thinking about design, I spend the majority of my time training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or board gaming with friends. I still bring out the Lego collection to work on some ideas from time to time too.
